Mercato Mayfair

Mercato Metropolitano’s second site, Mercato Mayfair, is a cultural hub and sustainable community market in the regenerated St Mark’s on North Audley Street,  North Mayfair.

You can try dishes from around the world at Mercato Mayfair. In keeping with Mercato Metropolitano’s mission, ingredients are fresh, artisanal and sustainably sourced as far as possible. Two levels of food stalls and bars are accompanied by a rooftop terrace, whilst the vaulted crypt basement hosts an authentic wine cellar with fresh cuts and world cheeses, a micro-brewery, events and cookery classes for everybody to gather, learn and share.

Pasta London first joined MM at E&C and have now brought their delicious handmade pasta to Mayfair. Watch the pasta being made and then cooked with your choice of sauce.

Lala serves up Traditional Turkish Pide with a variety of toppings. Flavoursome side salads and sweet dishes are also available.

Fresco was one of Mercato Metropolitano's first traders and has now joined Mercato Mayfair. Fresco offers fantastic Neapolitan pizza using fresh ingredients. They prepare hundreds of pizzas per day in their wood oven, bringing the real essence of south Italy to Mayfair.

Badiani began working with MM when the first sustainable community market opened in Elephant and Castle in 2016. Badiani brings authentic Italian gelato (not ice cream!) and coffee to Mercato Mayfair. The business was originally founded in Florence since 1932, where it has been present ever since.

German Kraft are MM’s resident brewery at E&C. Mercato Mayfair's micro-brewery is the next step in their journey of bringing true Franconian beer to the people of London. In the true spirit of MM’s sustainable ethos, the team at German Kraft came up with an innovative way to decorate their Mercato Mayfair bar front. From pint glasses to bricks: broken glasses were melted down and remoulded as over 1000 bricks for the front of the backlit bar.

Mayfair Community Space will is housed in Mercato Mayfair’s basement – available to local residents and associations for community events as a ‘village hall’ for the area. Free music classes and performances will take place within the space, with a focus on making contemporary jazz and opera accessible to children and families. Our Site

Mercato Mayfair sees Grade I-listed St Mark’s reopen to the public after decades of private use. After spending 30 years on Historic England’s Heritage at Risk Register, a two-year £5 million restoration of the deconsecrated church, by Grosvenor, has repaired and revived the building’s heritage features.
